CD Stud Welding Pin made from stainless steel or copper coated steel or aluminum, are widely used for insulation fastening work on metal surfaces. A Capacitor Discharge Stud Welder is needed for this insulation fastening work. After the pin is welded in place, the insulation is impaled on the pin and secured with a self-locking washer.

Step 1. Welding the CD Stud Welding Pin in to place
Step 2. Hang the insulation on the weld pins
Step 3. Press washers on the weld pins to secure the insulation
Step 4. Either clip off the weld pins at washer or bend the weld pins over washer
